    Pros

My office is like a close family, I truly respect my Managing Broker. The Edina university training is amazing.

    Cons

Not diverse! upfront cost should be explained prior to signing on.

    Advice to Management

    Hire all types of Agents

    Pros

    Benefit package is fairly reasonable

    Pros

The real estate training program and continuing support within this company is exceptional. They go above and beyond to ensure their agents are top notch.

    Cons

You are a little fish in a big pond. It can be easy to get a bit lost with all of the agents that are within each office.

  6. I was a realtor in with endina realty. I had an ok experience there but it just wasn't my cup of tea.

    Pros

They had a lot of educational opportunities and the manager was very helpful and encouraging. You were an independent contractor and could make your own work schedule.

    Cons

Some of the other realtors were not very welcoming and were very standoffish. Hard to accumulate enough clients to keep your business running. Very corporate one size fits all type of education.

    Advice to Management

I would try to help new realtors find ways to make money to keep going. Perhaps encourage more mentor and partnership arrangements between new and experienced realtors.

I have been working at Edina Realty part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The owners are committed to their employees and the community. They want to hear feedback you have. You get to meet so many people in the neighborhood.

    Cons

They are still working out some training kinks. There is no opportunity for growth. You are either an owner or an employee. No variety in levels of employee.

  9. Good company with a lot of support and seasoned professionals.

Everyone there really seems to care about not only their job and their clients, but also their employees. Corporate is really responsive to employee concerns and lots of opportunities for advancement.

Sales people can have a wide variety of strong personalities and sometimes forget that the administration is not just there to make their lives easier.

    Pros

Great Training, Superior Management. The culture in the office is second to none- co-workers care about each other. Management provides breakfast at weekly meetings

    Cons

Hard for newer agents to make any money at all bc desk fees are high, commission splits are high, Insurance is expensive, marketing is expensive etc etc.
