“Subpar working conditions, toxic environment, extremely low pay.”
Former Employee – worked at Edressme.Com full-time for less than a year
Pros – Abundant exposure to certain aspects of fashion retail.
Cons – Management lures recent graduates with promise of advancement and pay bumps, but never follows through. Average salary (no benefits, in Manhattan) ranges from about 28k to 35k for college and advanced degrees. Management tries to pit employees against one another by calling us into her office and asking us questions about our coworkers and drawing humiliating comparisons between employees in office meetings.
Advice to Senior Management – Capitalize upon the strengths of the extremely qualified employees you have, treat them well, and gain their loyalty. Turnover due to dissatisfaction is your greatest weakness.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
