Perfect academic year internship!

Intern (Current Employee)
Boston, MA

I have been working at Education Pioneers as an intern for more than a year

ProsThe people are absolutely amazing: friendly, relaxed, helpful, and always willing to answer any questions or offer guidance! If you're interested in education or non-profit work, this is a great opportunity for both professional and personal growth. Super relaxed and flexible in terms of hours, which makes it perfect for the academic year if you're in college.

ConsIt's a non-profit, so there aren't too many opportunities for rigorous, challenging work as an intern and the compensation is middle-of-the-road.

Advice to Senior ManagementI never got to interact with upper management since they're not located in Boston, but I have no suggestions.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Great people doing great work but seems to be struggling a bit with scale.

Data Analyst Intern (Former Employee)
Boston, MA

I worked at Education Pioneers as an intern for less than a year

ProsNational company
Very young, driven employees
Great cause, easy to get motivated
The company is expanding very quickly so there is plenty of mobility

Conslack of solid structure in the company
still relatively small groups in many of the offices.
company is bigger than they know how to handle
everyone in the company is needed to keep up with scale.

Advice to Senior ManagementEither hire more aggresively to keep up with the huge applicant pools, or consider downsizing the size of programs.
