Pros – There is a lot of freedom that comes with the financial advisor position. You run your own office and have your own assistant. You do not have to put up any upfront money for your office they just want you to put in the time to build it up. There are more ways to be compensated for your hard work, not just commission. There are two great trips each year you can win for your successful sales, bonuses and a chance to become a partner of the firm down the road. Overall Edward Jones is a great company to work for
Cons – Technology is finally getting up to speed but it has taken awhile to get there.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
Pros – Structure is a plus. Known training Company.
Cons – Constant threats to fire Advisors. I heard more than 5-10 times a day... if you do ........ you will be fired...
Advice to Senior Management – Don't hold your winners back with constant threats of termination. I left EJ on my own. Was never even reprimanded. Going to work and hearing multiple times a day...... if you do this... you will be fired... simply got old. Horrible work environment.
Don't put FA's in with a training FA who is obviously directly competing with the Trainee.
