I have been working at Efficient Frontier

    Pros

Efficient Frontier, has a very collaborate environment where people are its biggest asset. I found employees to be very cooperative willing to work together. Its technology is the best. No one looks over your shoulder and there is enough latitude for an individual to succeed. The company has a open door policy and ideas are welcome to be shared with management and founders.

    Cons

During good times the company should have been conservative in how they spent money on food, paper glasses, hiring. Considering that it is a start-up, employees should have been pushed hard to deliver more to succeed as a team.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work. Hire cautiously and make it a compelling environment for your employees to push harder. Additionally, do away with lunches and sundry expenses and celebrate every new customer acquisition with the entire company.

I have been working at Efficient Frontier

    Pros

open, free to talk, intelligent coworkers, passionate, industry leading technology

    Cons

    growth, small teams, remote office

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Corporate culture improved while I worked at Efficient Frontier. One of the main things is that EF needs to understand when to say goodbye to employees, or is it just going to be a rough patch for a little and to buckle down for some tough times.

    Pros

have some tech ology whoch is getting outdated. Has good busineess

    Cons

boring boring slow, Only people who are mediocre and wont get similar job elsewhere get promoted. Most colleagues will are in job search . so it affects your morale too. Business side gets too much prominence

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

recognize contributions. You are only recognizing people who have been in company for long time. they are there because they could not get through interviews elsewhere.

I have been working at Efficient Frontier

    Pros

We manage more keywords, execute more daily bid changes, and handle more search spend than any other search engine marketing firm in the world. We do this for the largest and most sophisticated advertisers on the Web. The company is open to employees changing to completely new roles. I was able to transition from QA Engineer to Business Analyst. Face time is not necessary. Get paid for full-time work but work part-time hours.

    Cons

Account managers and directors are rude and incompetent. They are not intelligent yet they think they know everything. The work is not challenging.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hurry up and sell the company or go public!

    I worked at Efficient Frontier

    Pros

There are no good reasons to work here, unless you are new to SEM and want to learn some more about how it should not be done. EF claims to have great technology but in reality most of the work done for clients is manual and run by grunts in India. Entrepenurship and initiative are actively discouraged here. If you come from a big company and want to gain small company experience this is a good step as they have all the bureaucratic crap and poltics of a big comapny in a small sized firm.

    Cons

mediocre atmosphere; complete apathy and lack of vision for the company. This is a company that values image over actual work. Too much politics for such a small company. Almost corrupt business practices.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees and customers more. Stop selling stuff that doesnt exist to customers and take a serious look at how bad your product is.
