I have been working at Efficio full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Multinational pool of consultants, high impact projects for Private Equity houses and blue chips, great possibilities for career progression - You will get a lot of opportunities if you do well.

    Cons

We have outgrown our back office and functions, we should strengthen that immediately. There is too much focus on tenure during reviews.

    Advice to Management

Skill and merits should weigh much heavier than tenure

    Pros

Young, vibrant atmosphere full of opportunities Quickly growing company Responsibilities for junior BAs very early on

    Cons

Usual consulting lifestyle - can be a con for some to travel 4 days a week to client site

    Pros

Become an Excel super user in no time CEO is very approachable Efficient and standardised approach to indirect sourcing

    Cons

Work is boring - you can easily end up sourcing paper for a year! Not good at sourcing anything else than indirect materials Extremely arrogant culture and majority of employees are actually not very friendly Not a management consultancy but more of an interim indirect sourcing company Believe that they, in adition to procurement, focus on Supply Chain but that is not the case

    Advice to Management

    Become more humble

    I worked at Efficio full-time

    Pros

Young and dynamic company Lots of smart people from very different backgrounds

    Cons

    - Redundant work where the same methodology is used on all projects, people build most of their knowledge after the 1st year - Very few VP's are inspiring and acting as role models - You have to dedicate most of your social life to your colleagues as well to feel part of the group

    Advice to Management

    Diversify

  6. Good stuff

I have been working at Efficio full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people, with a really diverse and broad range of backgrounds Lots of projects in a wide variety of sectors Everyone says "Ask me if you have any problems", and they mean it! Growing quickly, with lots of developments

    Cons

Typical consultancy lifestyle, with the time away, hotel living ect. Growing quickly, which is a challenge to the culture as well.

    Advice to Management

Think carefully about the growth, so we can continue to be an exciting and rewarding place to work, by putting in place good structures and people.

I worked at Efficio full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The salaries are above average when compared to similar levels at the Big Fours.

    Cons

The type of work is very limited - especially at more junior levels. Excel will be your best friend and people who can run hundreds of line item analysis with ease will progress through the ranks. The training curriculum is massively lacking and is virtually non existent. The company culture is also very typical of a small organisation. If you don't emulate the top management you will be on your way out.

  11. Fast growing and a great place to work

I have been working at Efficio full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good employee compensation Rapid growth that appears to be sustained. This brings a wide variety of genuine blue chip companies across a wide range of industries. The clients are all big names, and Efficio often works with spends in the millions, so the work makes a real difference to the client Lots of client exposure - you are not locked away in a room doing data analysis You are not forced to specialise in one area Good training course that is well structured and well run Great culture and people

    Cons

Systems and support functions really need to be improved Can get pushed around by clients - need to be firmer! Don't always maximise potential of employees - do a lot of experienced hires, but then recruit them a low level and do not use the skills they have already learnt

    Advice to Management

Don't lose focus on the small company feeling - at times management can seem distant to the work being delivered and to the social side of the company
