Former Employee - Maintenance Trainee in Cairo (Egypt)

I worked at EgyptAir as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Get full access to hangers and maintenance facilities. meet with people who have been working in the industry for quite some time. Get to know the different sections and responsibilities of maintenance .

    Cons

the Training program for Students is extremely useless and non beneficial. you get to learn some of the basic stuff about airline aviation principles that you otherwise learned in school or can do so through a short video online. you don't do any actual work and the closest thing to getting real experience was showing the maintenance crew while they work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

create a more beneficial training program that could be fruitful to both the trainers and the company, and the trainees.

please be fair enough to your employees to motivate them to carry on with their work cause with this unfairness you killed any glimpse of hope and resulted in great disappointments to your us which ,of course, had a negative effect on our efficiency at work .Spend more on training to gain more profits, then punish those who mistake.
