Company is getting bigger but losing quality people every day

Tax Senior (Current Employee) Bridgewater, NJ

ProsGetting bigger and making great moves towards marketing itself and competing with larger accounting firms.

Consthe focus seems to be quantity over quality now. before the mergers the company was not this way. some key partners have been retired and it now seems like more of a dictatorship.

Advice to Senior Managementconsider the quality of life of managers and below including support staff.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) New York, NY

    Prosfree-flow of ideas is encouraged

Consno room for individuality, now its about conforming to an ideal you may or may not subscribe to

Advice to Senior ManagementBe fair!!! The promotion process needs a complete overhaul as do some of the hiring practices, if you are not a team player who wants to make the brand better, why are you here?

Audit Senior (Former Employee) Edison, NJ

    Good place to work

Audit Senior (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsIn general, it's a good environment to work in. Good experience and respectable clients. Training has improved and they really want you to suceed.

ConsThe audit group is too cliquey. Being a member of a committees is not truly open to everyone as time and time again, it seems like the same people are in charge, and that's not because there aren't other people who want to participate. There's simply favoritism at play.

Advice to Senior ManagementOffer better insurance and bonuses.
