I have been working at El Corte Inglés

    Pros

Safe. You really have to do something very nasty to get fired
You work your 8 hours an leave. Nobody will nag you for finishing your workday at 17:00 exactly

    Cons

No professional career. HR department has not a clue of what that it means
Only way to get promotions is via connections and / or acting like a toad with bosses.
Low salary compared with similar jobs in other companies
No bonus doesn't matter how good your performance

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please improve HR department. Establish clear professional careers. Drop this policy of being promoted only if you have connections

Despite its size, its still a privately held company, managed in a family-like environment. In that sense, it is a quite stable job.

    Cons

Management is not d and a lot of promotions are based on internal family connections. Not recommended if you are a high performer.
