The company has been under market conditions stress for some years, so next round of lay offs is expected soon. Modest salary.
Advice to Senior Management
The company should expand into opening markets and definitely in need of some new products. You cannot win doing simple savings.

Advice to Senior Management
There will be always people leaving this company with such poor management and so little development opportunities. Delegate more responsibilities and provide proper pay for the staff.
Pros
Since this is a subsidiary office I get to learn how my work impact the organization as a whole, enabling me to see the big picture. President / VP/ Director involve me in many management meetings and give learning opportunity in anyway they can.
Cons
Workload can sometimes be overwhelming because this is a lean organization, nevertheless inspite of the hectic activities Management keeps us motivated to inspired to do the job well.
Advice to Senior Management
Overall since this is an excellent organization that I am comfortable with, I have very little in the way of constructive feedback .

Advice to Senior Management
Do more work
Pros
I was able to be in an environment where I was able to self-teach myself to gain more knowledge about my field. The company name looks good on your resume.
Cons
Management was the worst I have ever seen since joining the workforce 15 years ago. I was so happy the day they shut down our office and told everyone they were laid off. Best day of my life! Also, they only offer 2 weeks vacation, 3 sick days and zero personal days. Try getting really sick n January and then having no days left for the rest of the year. Awful.
Advice to Senior Management
There needs to be respect between management and employees. I was constantly screamed at and belittled by my manager. And even though their management witnessed it, nothing was done. Horribly run company.
Pros
Electrolux is a leader in producing and selling household appliances. There are opportunities to grow professionally and make international career. All company vacancies are first published on the intranet website. You can apply and try to capture it. Often it happens. The internal culture and work athmosphere are positive. People treat each other with respect.
Cons
As many of industry leaders the company can allow itself to pay below market. Decisions sometimes are taken in a very long time.
Advice to Senior Management
Use less buzzwords in letters to employees, concentrate more on achievements of certain people and teams. Create more unity within the company.
Pros
Decent Pay and nice town
Cons
Really poor foresight of management. Very much a "local" club
Advice to Senior Management
You should listen to new ideas more, and not be so stuck in your ways
Pros
Electrolux is a large corporation and this provides a lot of opportunities. The company is very good at letting you know the opportunities and pushing you to move around. Problem is that your mobility throughout europe is not going to give you a better salary or better working conditions. Most of the time your contract is local. This mean you can come from germany and end up with a romanian contract. it can be ok but most of the time, poorer countries do not provide the same security...
Cons
Short margins, little innovations business
Advice to Senior Management
clarify chain of responsabilities
