    Pros

Diwali gift for all including contractors.
Work mostly involves running load tests and generating reports.

    Cons

No development work, all testing and work of non importance is done in ea hyderabad.
No product ownership, all testing people and testing managers. There are no product managers or owners, all testing.
Regular employees and qea's had no knowledge of linux and cpp, even when the servers were running in linux and code was written in cpp.
qea's were from non computer or non engineering background (medical background). And few were only document writers writing one wiki page for days.
People with more show off skills and very little technical knowledge, all long timers who can not go out by getting other offers.
Worst ever experience working with female managers.
Managers make contractors scape goats for their mistakes.
Worst client company to ever work with.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lack of leadership and good managers in hyderabad teams, load testing team i worked for had worst female and male managers.
Should check the competency and background of managers, especially when everyone from contractors to permanent employees are suffering under bad managers.

EA is a fun company to work for. My teenage cousin adores me during the time when I worked for EA. You get to keep update what's new and exciting events happening in the game industry. You get to play board games with your co-workers during lunch break.

    Cons

Sometimes you have to work hard to meet deadlines.

    Pros

Incredible campus with huge built in perks to keep your friends and family jealous when you show them where you work. On-site gym, game store, arcade, Starbucks, and two cafeterias. The people making the game, specifically the artists and programmers, are mostly good-hearted, hard working people.

    Cons

Terrible creative atmosphere. Everyone is worried about their position and security so no true selflessness and teamwork really formulate. The people in charge care about the bottom line and very little else. Hierarchy and bureaucracy completely dominate in this company, when there should be a greater focus on the art and tech and changing the company culture for allowing it's employees to flourish.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A revamp of corporate, whose focus seems to be maintaining their immediate goals that create huge annual bonuses.

    Pros

new CEO and CFO have really turned around the company by controlling costs and listening to consumers.

    Cons

Old methods of working with studios are still causing alignment issues. annual merit increases are too low based on experience at other companies.

    Pros

Large variety of work. Tons of smart people. Cool work environment. Lots of perks. Decent gym. Bad coworkers don't last very long.

    Cons

EA is huge. You will get ground down by management. Your friends will get laid off. Lots of producer types trying to make their mark at any cost. Crunch time is often driven by bad decisions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Appreciation goes a long way. Management is a bunch of dudes for the most part so brogrammer culture is still pretty heavy. Hire more female DDs. Hire more female everything. Could TABU be more male dominated?
