Pros
Grow in the career, work with interntional projects, learning about new tecnologies, English training and development.
Cons
Because of the integration with HP and the global economics scenario, all the payments upgrades, certifications and trainings are freeze, some employee had a payment cut up to 10% all all the benefits cancelled.
Advice to Senior Management
We cannot stop the company grows, sales time needs to be more agressive to bring more accounts to the Company, not leaving behind the accounts we already support, for this ones should optimze them and provide diferential adds to d not loose those accounts!!
Pros
Big company to work with.
Cons
They prefer to hire peaple internally over to someone who does not work for EDS in order to pay less than it should pay. This is exacly my case. I was hired to work in the HELP DESK and then I got this new Infrastructure job but I did not receiced any raise.
Advice to Senior Management
Please raise my salary.
Pros
Good work environment. Good pay for an entry level. They have a lot of content that can be accessed for training but you'll need time.
Cons
All business expenses are paid by the employee and later refunded. The payscale is largely based from seniority and it is very difficult to renegociate your salary once you're in the job. EDS doesn't provide a profit sharing benefit for their workers. You may be stuck learning about IT products from the Agility Alliance that can become obsolete in a few years and it doesn't show any leadership in defining the marketplace always playing catch-up or showing offerings once they're time tested and offered by other vendors.
Advice to Senior Management
EDS and HP should rapidly merge operations and decide what they require in the future to accelerate growth.
