Pros
Excellent benefits, intellectual community, work/life balance, much opportunity for learning.
Cons
Limited opportunities for promotion and advancement. Corporate culture is one of mistrust and backstabbing, which is at high levels in current environment of uncertainty and downsizing.
Advice to Senior Management
Work to better align people in jobs according to their skills and abilities. Significant number of people are promoted to higher levels with fewer skills than co-workers. Going up the ladder should mean an employee has more to offer.
