    Pros

great compensation and benefits, awesome team environment. great communication between upper management and sales team. commission was awesome. clothing allowance awesome.

    Cons

not great for plus sized individuals. wearing brand is a requirement, if you wear over a size 16 you wont be able to wear most of the clothes and your allowance will go to waste like mine did.

    Advice to Management

I would advise upper management to provide other alternatives for attire for the team members who wear 14-16 and above.

    Pros

Linda, the Store Manager hired in March of 2014 (most recent), is the reason why i'm writing this review. She isn't just an excellent manager and leader, but she genuinely cares for each of her employees and wants to see them progress in their positions and in life. During my time as an employee, I was juggling a full-time course load at my university in addition to my full-time schedule at the store. One of the few reasons why I stayed and endured it, was because of the constant encouragement coming from Linda, and the subsequent staff cohesion caused by her superior leadership. Customers are always satisfied by her service and I learned to be a great, top selling employee because of following her example. As a new graduate searching for work, I hope to be employed by a company that houses executives who are even half the person that she is. As far as benefits go, the clothing allowance is a plus (although it's taxed), and the pay is decent.

    Cons

Certain corporate decisions didn't work for the benefit of our store. Example: changing our entire sales plan and employee hours for Black Friday A WEEK before Black Friday. To list the problems that this caused, would be more than I am willing to type. Hopefully this changes for next time.

    Advice to Management

My advice would be directed to the corporate office; -Hire more people like Linda in Allen, Texas. Every staff deserves a manager like her. -Many "executive decisions" had to be made by the staff as a result of poor communication between corporate and store employees. Please improve communication with collection AND outlet stores. -Please pay the same hourly rate to every employee who is as the same level of experience. -Although the outlet stores do carry different merchandise, please keep in mind that they do have a very large client and customer base; decisions made by corporate directly effect the success of our stores. -Elie Tahari should have a mission statement for all collection and outlet stores to work by.

    Pros

Very good introduction into the fast-paced world of the fashion industry. Perfect location, beautiful office. Overall, the employees were quite friendly.

    Cons

Very high turnover rate. It's hard to get to know a company and a position when everyone around you is leaving.

    Advice to Management

Take everyone in the company more seriously and treat them with more respect.
