Pros
Good pay, Good support staff
Cons
Should have easier bonus incentives
Advice to Senior Management
Give more money to doctors
Pros
If you can't find any other job and absolutely have no other prospects then you might consider working for Emcare.
Cons
You earn the money, and they skim off the top and tell you how much you can have of what is left. It's 3am, you are working a shift, and some guy who wears a suit is dreaming about his retirement in a warm bed.
Advice to Senior Management
You can shear a sheep for a lifetime, you can only eat it once. You are a top heavy parasite and a noncontributor.
Pros
flexibility with scheduling
Talented, friendly, and helpful coworkers
Good entry level position
minimal duties outside of the workplace
adequate parking
Cons
zero administrative support
no communication from upper levels
the company does not back up physicians
there is no concern regarding complaints by physicians of poor working conditions including treatment by ancillary personnel or in hospital accomadations
it seems that the management just does not want to be bothered
Advice to Senior Management
Support your physicians and open lines of communication. If you work together, both parties will be much happier. Remember, good doctors are invaluable.
Pros
supportive leadership and great co-workers
Cons
lack of adancement, some leaders not knowledgable
Pros
Other employess are very friendly. Some of the supervisors went out of their way to help you if you needed it. Very understanding of family issues.
Cons
Towards the end, it got really hard to get any time off. Supervisors were inconsistent in directions given to staff.
Advice to Senior Management
Your employees are a source of wealth. They can make or break a company. Treat them with respect and you will get the same in return. A lot of talented people are over looked for advancement.
