Pros
Chance to work on great project, with a wide variety of projects. I can get involve in different type of business and wear many hats
Cons
No real vision at times of slowdown. No fair treatment between employees, and promotion happens sometimes on personal levels and treatment.
Advice to Senior Management
Need to train remaining employees and reward them at these downturn times. Need to better communicate with employees and managers.
Pros
Good reputation.
Structured environment.
No problems in getting paid on time all the time.
Good exposure to professional firms and organizations.
Cons
No career growth.
Promotions are random and moody, like the people that hand them out.
Ruthless top management.
Employees have no value and are all replaceable. No exceptions.
No one can make a decision without consulting with the top man.
When the Group CEO passed away (Vinod Kumar Gomber), he wasn't replaced for over a year leaving the structure of the company in complete disarray.
Advice to Senior Management
Look after your people. The company is not made up of desks and chairs.
Pros
The Emaar Properties are known for providing good developments to communities. Tallest building in the world was really a big challange.
Cons
Lot of internal politics in Senior Management. They do not realize (Directors and CEOs) that they are sinking the company with their egos. A company living in a hyped world. Big shunting in head counts.
Advice to Senior Management
They haven't realized that actual head count can be shunted from finance and human resourcs department. Lots of CEO's and unnecessary Director positions contributes to huge financial burden on the organization.
Pros
It was a strong company with an exciting Vision I was pround to be a part of something that was going to be so exciting. It's was hard work but very rewarding and you were recognised for your efforts.
Cons
I got made redundant along with 40% of the head count.
Advice to Senior Management
Don't make irresponsible hires, as losing a job in these time is very difficult. only hire absolute musts!

The job allows for multiple opportunities to expand your career in all types of development. One day you could be working on residential product while you could be working on a hotel the next.
Cons
This job requires lots of travel. If you work here you must be ready to spend weeks on the road in foreign countries.
Advice to Senior Management
Senior Management is very skilled in their professian and always has an open door.
