    Pros

Very broad field of expertize, giving the chance to grow a career.
Possibilities to promote to a leader role, if you got the chance to have a manager who is willing to coach you and support through the very first steps in this direction.

    Cons

Company is very focused on costs (trainings, high cost country vs best cost country)
Has dificulties to keep a competitive salary level, somethimes resulting in loosing employees with potential.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on people, and less on costs/profit.

    Pros

Great people to work with and direct managers actually care about developing assocaites. They did social events for employees.

    Cons

The pay was below the standard. They choices made when down sizing were based soley on length of service and not performance.

    Advice to Management

Keep people who are doing everything they can to improve themselves in order to better serve the company, not people who openly speak on there displeasure with their job, boss, pay etc.

    Pros

Lots of opportunities to move around, great products and innovation. Very thorough business planning and reporting. Good graduate training schemes.

    Cons

Arrogant organisation, too inwardly focused. Progression is rapid if your face fits, for anyone else, its a hard slog. Can be ruthless when business is down. Management and business sectors disconnected. Could be much more effective in the market if they worked as one company rather than lots of separate ones. Too many chiefs. Pay is low as they benchmark on what you started on rather that on the market rate, small pay rises with promotions.

    Advice to Management

don't leave your employees to flounder and figure it out for themselves.
