Current Employee – been working at Emn8
Pros – Opportunities to innovate and try new things are allowed but not encouraged (and only when not on a deadline). Company culture is mostly fun and upbeat though, which makes work mostly enjoyable.
Cons – Poor planning means tight deadlines. Employees are not encouraged to innovate, focus is squarely on meeting deadlines and dodging blame.
Advice to Senior Management – Provide stronger overall direction and better planning - encourage excellence, rather than just meeting deadlines and forcing new products out the door.

Former Employee – worked at Emn8
Pros – - Technical leadership is actually pretty good
- The engineers are empowered by the technical leadership to make decisions
- The non-management employees are great people; this was a fun place to work
Cons – - Senior management sometimes doesn't seem to know what they're doing
- There is no transparency or communication on the part of senior management; average employees are not kept informed about important company news (usually the bad news)
- Employees are rarely rewarded w/fair compensation adjustments without asking; usually it takes a threat to leave before they do get them.
Advice to Senior Management – Take better care of your employees - compensate them better, communicate with them better - and they will be happier.

Former Employee – worked at Emn8
Pros – The technology that Emn8 is creating will change the way we interact with the fast food and quick service industry. Automation is truly the future and Emn8 has what could be the best technology in the business compared to the competition. But that's where it ends.
Cons – In one word, Management. The Senior Management staff is in over their heads when it comes to technology. Not one senior manager has a background in technology and it is for this reason, the company continues to struggle and make poor business choices. Additionally, the working conditions are somewhat harsh. Yelling and screaming at individuals does not belong in the workplace. There does not seem to be a good balance between home and work schedules.
Advice to Senior Management – Hire a competent Sr. Management staff who will listen to the people they employ. Your autocratic style of management has forced many good people out the door and many more will follow. Try reading a few of Ken Blanchard's books, you might learn something.

Former Employee – worked at Emn8
Pros – Good market opportunity to serve the quick service restaurant industry
Cons – Zero transparency with senior leadership who doesn't even live in the same city as where the headquarters are. The result is one of employees working hard while the CEO and other C level execs are not ever present. The worst thing is there is zero empowerment in this organization. Don't be surprised to all of a sudden have the rug pulled out from under you. And don't expect any format review process, raises or recognition for going above the call of duty either.
Advice to Senior Management – Replace yourself with on-the-ground and in-touch managers
