    Access to a lot of data. Supervision by an experienced researcher. Satisfactory pay scale. Great co-workers.

    High expectations in terms of deliverables not commensurate with authority or level of preparation. Research supervisor often busy with numerous projects.

    health care is great
    as graduate programs go the work life balance is ok
    most advisers are supportive if you don't want to become a PI
    Atlanta is a great city to be in and the campus is nice

    Cons

    no vision, no dental
    department (chemistry) expectations change all the time and vary between divisions
    no recruiters from industry have visited Emory in the past 5 years
    no help finding a job after graduation

    Great Pay, Benefits, well established, Good vacation and you get to take school days off to (but not the summer).

    Cons

    Traffic getting to the site can be bad. However, there are no other cons that i can think of. I would have never left had i live closer.
