    -Good starting place
    -Nice people

    -No salary increases
    -very repetitive
    -hard sale into physician offices

    Raise salaries, there will be less turnover

    Pros

    Flexible schedule, pay isnt bad for what you do.

    Cons

    Supervisors never around, micromanaged, 5 comp plans in 5 years (each paying less than the previous one), no room for advancement, done mass layoffs each of the last 2 years because business is dying.

    Advice to Management

    Doesnt matter, they don't listen anyway

    Pretty good base plus commission, great management before the merger, awesome training program

    Cons

    huge territories not too sure about up and coming comp plans and not too sure about post merger management

    be realistic about quotes especially during tough times

    Pros

    Competes with the Pharma Companies as an alternative to Pain Meds.

    Cons

    POOR management, Little growth, company is short sighted, little in the way of R&D.

    Put the right people in place in order to drive sucess in this company.

    Pros

    - Good place to start in medical device sales
    - Management looks out for the sales force
    - Great training to start
    - Strong rapport with core therapy offices

    Cons

    - Not much in the way of salary or overall pay
    - New hires are looking at territories too small to carry the quota requirements
    - Very repetiive work
    - New products are non-existent or promised much sooner than delivered
    - Not much in continuing education

    Advice to Management

    3 different presidents in the four years that I was employed there. Never sure what direction we were going to go next. Clinical research is severely lacking. That is crucial for a company who's backbone is eletrotherapy. Losing state coverage to cuts because none of reseach is double-blind, peer reviewed. Quotas don't reflect the changes in the market place. They seem to be arbitrary, reflecting what management needs to hit their numbers as a whole rather than what was actually sold the previous year. Writing a YOY increase of 200+% and not hitting quota is ridiculous.

    Good sales training
    Respected products
    Flexibility with schedule

    Cons

    Very repetitive work
    The more product you sell the more your quota goes up - which makes it harder to make more money.
    LOTS of paperwork
    Expense reports are daunting to fill out every week
    Base salary could be higher

    Advice to Management

    Raise the base salary to keep quality employees. Make sure the Regional Managers that are hired have sales experience - I found that a few of my Regional Manager never actually sold before.
