Current Employee – been working at 1-800-Flowers.com full-time
Pros – Work at home which saves on gas and seems convenient
Cons – $9/hour, close to minimum wage
10-12 hour days including weekends, and no say in schedule whatsoever, basically you are there for them when they need you, and during peak times it could be 7 days straight without a day off and only 30 minute break per day
Have to have upgraded computer equipment, high speed Internet not wireless, designated phone (land, no mobile lines) line w/ noise cancelling USB headset and corded phone with additional compatible headset
Sales quotos are pushed and you are required to upsell
Advice to Senior Management – More $ for that kind of commitment
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
