Pros

Used to be on commission but switched to hourly which is fair because of the way they figured it out per person, however, the starting rate for a new hire is more than minimum wage but hard to get it raised. Free membership and discounts on training ($35 an hour) Tons of opportunities to move up. Changing peoples lives.

Cons

Having to do the front desk job for them because they are so terrible. They pay minimum wage so they don't attract a great crowd of hard workers. Depending on who your manager is it can be very Shark-like which I don't personally like. Some management doesn't have a clue on how to manage and are just using their position to get moved up to something district level.

Advice to Management

When people file HR suits against you, you should be fired..not moved up or transfered

    Pros

This is a great place to build experience and knowledge in the fitness industry before venturing onto bigger and better things. The ability to help people day in and day out is the best reward for working this company. FREE gym membership!

    Cons

Pressure sales ALL THE TIME. The management was not too helpful with aiding in building a clientele. You're pretty much thrown out on the floor after only a couple hours of "shadowing" (following) other trainers. This company is more concerned about bringing in revenue from your clients rather than seeing them get to their fitness goals.

    Advice to Management

Care for your clientele better, they are what feeds your company revenue. Better training for your staff, especially the personal trainers.
