    Pros

If you are a brand new trainer with good looks they will hire you and give you 12 new clients to experiment on.

    Cons

My fitness manager expected me to be available 66 hours per week to clock in at any given half hour incriment without much notice. Pay averages out to under $8 per hour in the summer. Must work nights and weekends and love to sell suppliments for 0 (zero) commission.

    Advice to Management

Go on undercover boss for a year as a personal trainer!

  2. Sales with no commission?!?!

    Pros

I really love the atmosphere and getting to know all of the people that come to my gym. I love the interaction I get to have on a day to day basis. And it is always a big plus that my Managers and Co-workers are a pleasure to work with...well most of the time anyway lol

    Cons

I love that starting pay is $10.25 but to be quite frank, i have never bonused more than $50 (after taxes) in any month. I do a WHOLE LOT OF WORK for not nearly enough money. They really try to push you to sell more (personal training) for no extra money. You dont bonus individually but as a team...so if you have someone who dosent really want to be there and doing just enough work to get by, then your hard work will more than likely go un-noticed...aside from the occasional "Good Job" you may get.

    Advice to Management

If it isnt a commission or bonus thats individually reachable, please give us or the people that will continue to work for this company something to try and reach for....the bonuses now just dont do it for me...especially since i know I do the back breaking work that gets the assistant managers the HUGE BONUSES....The higher up the food chain you get, the less work you have to do. For God sakes, I can do the banking for my club and the club manager dosent.
