Pros

- Getting to know your customers - Free gym membership - Very easy job - Open 24 hours allows for scheduling for all needs

Cons

- Poor base pay (Slightly above minimum wage) - Some of the rudest customers I've ever met in my life, and I've worked in fast food. - Very backstabbing, conniving managers - High turn-over rate of personal trainers, they get mistreated a lot

Advice to Management

Lower the pay of your club managers and distribute among the people actually doing things like the front desk staff and the trainers. Stop conning people into memberships, and perhaps lower the cost of membership as well. I can't believe the price can be as high as 60$! That's highway robbery.

    Pros

Large company present in many cities making transfers within company easy. Easy to get hired.

    Cons

Corporate only cares about numbers and profit. Many top performing locations are neglected since their numbers are "acceptable". Compensation is poor unless you are in a management position.

    Advice to Management

Start striving for excellence, give your employees the tools they need to do their jobs.
