I have been working at 24 Hour Fitness full-time for less than a year

Pros

gave good introduction to direct sales, not so dissimilar to cell phone sales and comcast sales, these were the people who trained me

Cons

the sales system incentivized people to hustle members through the process of getting signed up, try to get them to sign up for the full price and drop the price if we have to, not care about customers needs, take advantage of their insecurities to bully them into getting membership/personal training

Advice to ManagementAdvice

its good that this system is gone

Doesn't Recommend
Negative Outlook
No opinion of CEO

    I worked at 24 Hour Fitness part-time

    Pros

Great leadership and extensive training. There's always room for growth and different opportunities. Professional development is also highly valued here. Also, the complimentary membership is very nice to take advantage of.

    Cons

Pay starts off very low. Staff is asked to do a lot for the compensation. Tasks can be very repetitive and become tedious. Raises do not happen as often as they should.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make staff feel more valued. Higher pay or better benefits.
