Pros

The work is steady, unlike many jobs within creative industries.

Cons

I was sent on an irrelevant contract job that had no end. I was never informed of any other positions that would have been a better fit. Although they are supposed to find you work in creative industries, I never found any of that with them. In fact, after the initial interview, they seem to take a hands-off approach.

Vett your available positions carefully.

    Great offices. The main owner is really nice.

    Big clique, breaks promises, overcharges companies, and poaches from companies they do business with.

    Pros

    Well stocked refrigerator
    Decent pay
    Excessive company dinners

    Cons

    Extremely disorganized
    Severe lack of communication
    No real management
    Senior management belittled staff constantly
    Non-existent training
    No real team environment

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Each an every staff member needs to be trained properly. 1-3 day training is not sufficient. It is ridiculous to think that someone could learn your business in that short amount of time.

    Each office needs to be run in the same efficient manner.

    You need to hire competent senior managers who treat each and every person with respect; and know how to communicate well.

    It is important to communicate succinctly, accurately and in a timely manner.
