I worked at 3 Day Blinds full-time for more than 8 years

Pros

The company offers flexible hours. I had great, friendly coworkers and the commute was not bad.

Cons

The pay was not the best. I did not receive yearly reviews.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would highly encourage the management to ride along with the staff when they go out on appointments.

    Pros

    You are made to feel like you run your own business.

    Cons

    Appointments are pre-screened and scheduled for you which is nice, but there are also "same day" appointments so you basically feel like you are on call all of the time and have to be ready to go at a moment's notice...all the while you are not being paid for this.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Management says they care about their employees but many of them are working at below poverty wages and you constantly have to defend your actions and are punished for the slightest mistakes.

    I worked at 3 Day Blinds full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Flexibility with schedule, ability to control success rate by booking more appt., leads/appt. given to you, autonomous out on field, very complete resources given (samples, technology, etc.)

    Cons

    No real leaders of the team, no integrity from management to subordinates, good training program in place but not implemented in the field, sketchy commission program, some new hires seemed out of place for in-home sales/questionable characters

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Live your 5 core values with your Sales team, really look at the "face" of your company out in the field, treat people as if they really are important and valued
