Pros

- Good place for new grads
- Hours are reasonable
- Work is easy, young in-office environment

Cons

- Management is very passive aggressive
- Dead end in terms of job responsibilities, career growth
- many false promises from upper management, not enough attention/training to incoming employees
- No investment in infrastructure/employees
- No Commission...leads to unmotivated employees (sales and recruiting jobs, yet no pay for performance)

Advice to Management

Hire some senior managers, reduce the micro management and change compensation structure to commission

    Pros

Young office staff, opportunity to have a big influence, growing quickly, great location near Silicon Valley, small company with small company atmosphere

    Cons

Incompetent/inexperienced management, no documented policies or procedures, constantly interviewing for open positions, regularly firing employees, no communication/feedback on job performance, no clearly designated responsibilities, regularly misrepresents clients and candidates, no employee appreciation, very few holidays/PTO

    Advice to Management

On the recruiting side, hire a Recruiting Manager with relevant industry experience and previous management responsibilities. For all departments, properly train new joiners and provide clearly documented job responsibilities. Incorporate feedback and stop micro-managing!

    Pros

They got me an assignment when I needed one, and managed to never upset the client enough to drop my contract.

    Cons

Serious lack of integrity in dealing with Clients and consultants, only concerned with the bottom line. Make sure you get absolutely everything in writing.

    Advice to Management

Some people are good at sales, some at client management, some at recruitment, and some at HR/contracting, but no one is ever good at all of them.
