3M – “3M was a great company...”

I was a victim of Nepotism and it took me years to find out that secret which cost me and my family thousands of dollars and 3M did nothing about it so Nepotism is condoned at 3M, because people are not promoted on their accomplishments, but politics. In front of my manager an upper lever manager used the F word to me and when I reported it it was covered up by the Vice President and nothing was done about it at all so that is what any employee can expect at 3M. I was put in a job in IT that could not be done and I informed the manager and was demoted for not being able to do a job that was impossible. The director said to me "if you tell anyone what happened to you I will kick your ass", and he said that in front of the HR manager that said nothing about it. I reported it and nothing was done about it. I retired from 3M and was an outstanding employee .
