I worked at 7-Eleven full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Nice customers.
    Weekly pay.
    Nice co-workers.

    Cons

Low pay. I never got a raise after being there for 4 years.
    Poor management.
Employees were blamed for everything. It's our fault that the sales are down, it's our fault that we got a low clean score.
Frequent mandatory store meetings that were all basically the same: everybody is lazy, if you don't start working harder, we will fire you and find someone else that will work harder. Nobody is getting raises because sales are down, or because people are ordering too much product or because nobody deserves one.
High turnover. Almost everybody gets fired within one year.
No opportunity to advance. This is a dead end job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Step up and take responsibility. Stop blaming everybody else for your failure.
