7-Eleven – “Not a place if you have a future”

Pros

-Pay is decent for part timers
-There is a distinct career path
-The job is not difficult and is sometimes personally rewarding
-Benefits are good

Cons

Retail in general is not a place for any college graduate or any person with a potential future, but 7-Eleven is the worst. I was planning on continuing up the chain even after getting my bachelors degree but they are against promoting anyone who could actually do a good job analytically and physically. Don't waste your time. They are franchising out all stores so don't become a manager you'll lose your job.
