Pros

The company pays good money and the products they offer are selling well in the current economic climate. Overall good place to be.

Cons

This position requires long hours. It is basically expected that you work 10-12 hours a day and should try to work some hours over the weekend (telecommute on weekend).

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Advice to prospective employee: Management is very aggressive to fill new sales positions. Initial underperformance is not tolerated and you will be replaced. Working long hours for the first few months is mandatory to make it.

    I have been working at 8x8 full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    They throw a good party, they lavish gifts on sales, and they feed us on a regular basis.

    Cons

    If you are older, not a member of the ruling clique, or not a young female, there is no opportunity for advancement. And now Customer support will be run by the bean counters. Our customers will hate us more than they do now.
