I worked at Aéropostale

Pros

Friendly co-workers and management, easy tasks, good communication

Cons

Pay increases annually and by only a small amount, hardly any hours because so many associates, dealing with small children in the store is always a hassle

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Award those who show initiative consistently with more hours or higher pay

I have been working at Aéropostale part-time for more than a year

    Pros

The company offers discounts on one outfit a month with additional discounts that can be used as well.. The clothes are already inexpensive so a whole outfit may cost between 14-22 bucks

    Cons

There are too many on call shifts, not enough hours, rude and demanding customers, and poor management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop the on call shifts

I have been working at Aéropostale full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Excellent training program, bonus potential, many existing stores and constantly opening new stores (both Aeropostale and PS kids store)

    Cons

Many of the associates you manage are not interested in learning, rather just collecting a paycheck...this can be annoying!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Remember what it is like to work in a store, and consider this when directing in store managers to implement something! Something that sounds like a good idea in the corporate office is actually very difficult to implement in the store. Sometimes it is worth the trouble sometime it is not!

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO
