A.C. Moore – “A.C Moore - NO BAD TO WORK FOR... NEEDS SOME IMPROVEMENTS - GREAT CRAFT STORE!!”

Pros

Pay - was fair for part-time
GM- I thought the GM was good at her job in regards to maintaining the store, customers, keeping things organized.

Cons

Front End Supervisors (FES) - didn't like to answer many questions, especially for new employees, seemed almost annoyed. I felt very uncomfortable to ask any manager (except one) and GM any questions at all.

I felt it was unfair that if a drawer is short, that it's blamed on one person, when they've admitted they were not even sure who is responsible...it could've been the mgr counting the drawer, the associate working the register, or it might've been from the night before. If you don't know, you can't blame anyone.

Advice to Senior Management

Please train your mangers/FES to be understanding to new employee and all employees. I noticed some of these young FES get these positions and their heads get to big to really be able to really supervise.

Overall, I think AC Moore is not a bad place to work. It is a great craft store, that is for sure!
