You have some some control over your future. The employees (team members) that apply have a "Genuine" interest in "Crafts" and therefore really do enjoy their jobs.
Cons
Management responsibilities are very high. There is a large amount of "Detailed" knowledge that is necessary to acquire throughly before you can manage this type of store successfully.
Advice to Senior Management
Try to promote from within. Unfortunately hiring Senior management from Non Craft retailers does not give them a realistic perspective of the unique logistic and operational issues management faces daily.
