Pros

Access to compelling projects at The History Channel, great people at the lower level of production, great area to work.

Cons

The A&E Channel itself is run by essentially a high school girl's clique. Nasty and brutish...lurching from demo to demo without a clear idea of how to succeed

Advice to Senior Management

Figure out your intended audience.

It is the truth, especially the high school girls. You forgot to mention the whole place is high school. Total lack of basic fundamental business professionalism at all levels. They could save themselves so much money by getting rid of the hacks who have been there forever and who bring nothing useful to the advancement of the brands. There is no leadership, just nasty women who snarl when you get to close to their territory.

Absolutely agree. Too many females, and I'm a female. Love the two marketing folks on A&E, but EVERYONE on the History Channel marketing team has their heads up their ass. Not sure how they got hired?? Maybe Abbe can answer?
