Great place to work if you're in the right department

Manager (Current Employee)
New York, NY

ProsGood work/life balance for the most part. Excitement at company due to excellent new programs and network growth.

ConsWhen I was there, there was unwritten pressure to stay late. Felt guilty if I left at 5:00pm or 5:30. Some folks seemed to be promoted because they had friends in high places. Right now the construction necessitates two buildings--annoying to go back and forth for meetings.

Advice to Senior ManagementPeople need better opportunity for job growth. Some managers do the equivalent of director level work; some directors do the equivalent of VP level work, regardless of what they're paid.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
