I worked at A&E Networks full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Was a great company until the Lifetime merger and then everything changed for the worst.

    Cons

    Same as above. Totally broke.

    Advice to Management

You had a great company until the Lifetime merger so you broke what was working well.

I have been working at A&E Networks full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good work/life balance for the most part. Excitement at company due to excellent new programs and network growth.

    Cons

When I was there, there was unwritten pressure to stay late. Felt guilty if I left at 5:00pm or 5:30. Some folks seemed to be promoted because they had friends in high places. Right now the construction necessitates two buildings--annoying to go back and forth for meetings.

    Advice to Management

People need better opportunity for job growth. Some managers do the equivalent of director level work; some directors do the equivalent of VP level work, regardless of what they're paid.
