I worked at A&E Networks full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

-Great support network
-Smart dedicated and collaborative colleagues
-The company really works hard at being innovative

Cons

-When I was there compensation was pretty low
-There are some horrible managers. Thankfully I never had to work much with them but some of them are pretty legendary. Not sure if senior management thinks they're ok as long as they're meeting some numbers even though their people skills are pretty much non-existent.

I have been working at A&E Networks

    Pros

Learned a lot from skilled executives. Enjoy most of my co- workers.

    Cons

The company does not convert from consultant to staff hardly ever. Some upper management does not keep up with developments in their field of expertise.

Great benefits, great hours, but severely lacking in culture and innovation

I have been working at A&E Networks full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The health benefits are the best I've had, and managers understand work/life balance. The company is growing, so there are many opportunities to move up.

    Cons

Departments do not work together well. There is no "middle class" here. It's all upper management and coordinators, and the rift is apparent. Upper management does not inspire innovation or encourage working across departments.
