I have been working at A&P part-time for more than 10 years

Pros – Flexible schedules, store managers try to work the hand they are dealt with by district managers.

Cons – Used to be a solid, well run grocery store. Customer base constantly dwindling. Corporate management out of touch with what needs to be done at store level to keep customers.

Advice to Senior Management – Stop spending so much time/effort on unimportant items. Start looking at the big picture before it is too late. Too many CEOs recently with golden parachutes. Wasting too much money on unnecesary items (example-how many different types of uniform styles did we need?)

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
