I have been working at AAA Mid-Atlantic full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Good Benefits
    Nice HQ location
    Great cafeteria

    Cons

Very little Diversity in many departments, especially HR (ironically)
    No consistency in practices
Too many egos in Sr. Management and people are promoted based on who they know
There is no morale at all..can't even say it's low anymore
Extremely low pay and annual pay increases only between 1-3%
    Managers need discrimination training

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start appreciating the employees who weren't layed off and make personal agendas less visible
Stop crying poor every year. It's been said for too long yet, people are still getting their "golden parachutes" while the rest of us get 1-2% raises and need to pay into our Benefits more every year
Stop asking for "anonymous" feedback when a. it's not anonymous and b. we never hear the outcome of these surveys. The message from Sr. Management is not believed any more. There is very little trust and as a result, very little respect. Stop making decisions only to change your minds again in 3 months (work hours, variable pay, job titles/descriptions etc.)..it's ridiculous. Get over your egos!! People are starting to notice the disparity in how we treat Members vs. how the employees are treated. That needs to change
