This was a great opportunity. The organization treated me fairly and gave me a chance to grow.

Pros

The people in the organization were great.

Cons

Progression is slow. Loyalty to its employees is no longer a strength.

    Pros

Good benefits - pay is good but not great

    Cons

Management is a little out of control right now.

    Advice to Management

Spend some time in the branches so they will know what goes on a day to day basis.

    Pros

Thanks to the awesome service provided by the frontline staff in branches and the road warriors towing stranded drivers to safety, AAA is still one of the most respected brands in US. Good pay, benefits and a startup like culture attracted folks like myself to AAA NCNU. It did provide opportunities to transform a 100-year old company into a formidable startup utilizing best-of-breed cloud technologies in the industry. Unfortunately, it lacked good executive leadership and stability.

    Cons

Lack of leadership at the top. CEO, CIO and COO seem like a bunch of yuppies lacking the maturity, discipline and vision that is typically expected at any 500 MM+ company!! Favoritism in rampant. As someone else mentioned on glass door C-suite seems too focussed on their personal vacations rather than organizational goals, members and teh employees.

    Advice to Management

Request the board to please replace the c-suite with some seasoned, mature and level headed leaders who want to join the company because they want to make a difference and actually serve the members... and not because they cannot find another job in the valley!!
