I have been working at AARP part-time (less than an year)

Pros

I can still look for full time work while making a few dollars. I have weekends offf and can basically set my own hours Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.

Cons

Not enough money and no benefits.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

This position could use more time at work searches and more contacts with potential full time employers.

    The people love what they do
    Organization has a lot of clout

    Huge bureaucracy
    Large organization, so it easy to get lost in the mix

    Try to get the upper management to interact with interns more. Also, it would be great to have events for interns.
