ABM Industries – “Good company to work for”

Pros

It's a good stable company, although they are starting to implement more cost cutting measures. The management is very laid back and generally, people are very easy going. Many people at ABM get offices, which is unusual these days. The 401k plan vests immediately.

Cons

Benefits are not that good and they used ancient systems. ABM only gives 2 week vacation for new hires. The company is still running on citrix, which often goes down for hours at a time. In addition, you can't install any application on your computer. ABM's compensation is below the mid range and in this competitive marketplace, they simply won't attract good candidates
