I have been working at ACCO Brands full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

The salary structure very competitive with annual base increases each year. The commision structure also very fair. Good middle management. Great team structure. Diversified product offering.

Cons

Travel and expense reimbursement very poor. Lack of consistent pricing levels. Verticle go to market strategy poor. Customer last not first.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to field sales, they know the products and the customer

    Pros

    Many talented people. Solid foundation of quality products. Benefits and pay are okay. Work/Life balance can be worthwhile depending on manager of group.

    Cons

    Corporate culture is disjointed and negative. Accountability issues start with sr. management. Everyone is worried about protecting their job and or looking to blame others when issues come up.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Leadership training for Sr. Management. OD talent needs to be hired.

    I worked at ACCO Brands full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Fair pay but great benefits. They really took care of their employees during the economic down turn.

    Cons

    Unfortunately the decision was made, due to a merger, to close our building and transfer manufacturing out of state. This also meant the end of our call center and the great customer service Day-Timer was known for.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    It is a shame that service must be scarified for survival.
