Approves of CEO

Pros

Interesting products and customer focus. Interesting projects to work on. Dedicated staff. Decent benefits. Management support of employee development, (at least until recent budget cuts).

Cons

Too many organizational changes within short time frame. Too much politics - especially on the director level. Too many levels of approval, and too much conflict - trying to please too many decision holders.

Advice to Management

Re-evaluate some of the Director Level Positions - they don't bring value to developing teams, and they spend too much effort with politics -- Bring new product development back to the brands.

    Cons

At corporate headquarters; no work-life balance, politically corrupt culture, very unethical treatment of some employees by certain managers.

    Pros

Employees who care about doing a good job. Overall good teamwork, mid-manager and below. Lots of opportunities to be involved in projects and expand responsibility level.

    Cons

Environment is too political for the size of the company. Office environment is nice but everyone is in cubes resulting in a lack of privacy. Meeting room availibility is rather sparce.

    Advice to Management

Invest in enabling technologies to improve business processes, reduce overhead and increase customer/employee satisfaction. Provide more tools and space for employees to get their jobs done successfully.
