    I worked at ACDI/VOCA

    Pros

Good environment for learning, supportive colleagues, interesting and motivated project teams, wide range of technical and global areas of expertise, systemized organization with solid procedures and organizational hierarchy.

    Cons

Work life balance sometimes overlooked, tenure more important than competence, and innovation lacking. Not large enough of a company to offer serious long-term growth opportunities, but a solid starting organization for new graduates or those entering a field.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote fresh thoughts, feedback, and energy.

I have been working at ACDI/VOCA full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Compared to most local organizations, the company pays higher

    Cons

in the head-office, perhaps, the staff is employed for a long-term, but as for staff in the field, the project that i am working with is a 3-year project, and staff are hired for a short-term.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

to create an atmosphere among employees that management is doing its best to keep professionals for a long time employment
