Pros

Interesting segment of the market. Largest Payment solution providers in the world. Great people to work with. Great opertunities to further your career

Cons

Very process driven. To the point where simple tasks takes weeks to complete

    Pros

    Working remotely, dress code (none), customer seems to be growing.

    Cons

    Too focused on process rather than quality. Documentation is poor and some decisions made by management are mind-boggling.

    Pros

    Clear market leader. Intelligent and experienced people who generally willing to help where possible. You can gain good exposure to high pressure situations and clients.

    Cons

    The S1 takeover was handled shockingly, lack of honesty when communicating with employees left entire departments not knowing if they have a job or not.

    Death by meeting as well as process means you spend more time doing admin than actual tasks that make a difference to the customers.

    Lack of career natural progression leads to many people leaving despite management promising differently.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Quit the business jargon/power point slide decks for everything and find what makes your people tick. Also drop the favoritism of technical strong people when management/leadership opportunities arise.
