Pros

Best reasons to work at ADP? If you are at least 45% competent and keep your head down, you can stay here for a VERY long time. I know multiple employees that are practically worthless, who it's like pulling teeth to get any effort from, who have been here 15+ years. If you make it to 5 years, you can stay forever. I know more people who are here 10+ years than 10-.

Cons

Red tape. Lots and lots of red tape. Everything is 100% compartmentalized. You have to get sign-offs from 10 different groups to get anything done. Most managers spend about 50% of their time in conference calls.

Advice to Senior Management

Be more flexible, be less corporate. I do give managment props for calling the most recent round of layoffs/firings "painful staffing reductions" as opposed to some sort of euphemism such as "corporate reorganization" or "fixed cost adjustments".
