    Pros

Freedom with Outside Sales, great salary/commission/benefits, get a new iPad (for work), everyone in Small Business is young and very outgoing/high energy/friendly...

Overall pretty awesome company to work for if the "hunter" sales role is for you.

    Cons

Territory availability and composition means a lot (i.e. area with lots of manufacturing will produce versus a smaller beach community where business is tight knit and doesnt believe in being in compliance with federal and state law, where price is the driving factor), if not given good partners (i.e. referring bank institutions, referring accountants/CPAs) then lots of the work on you to foot prospect, cold call, etc...

Corporate America, lots of red-tape, procedures, policy... depends on office and management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Spread opportunity evenly amongst associates.

    Pros

ADP is the market leader and a household name so it carries quite a bit of weight. ADP also spends a bunch of money on R&D so despite what the competition says the technology really is superb.

    Cons

You are definitely just a number in a huge machine. When you first start be prepared to be really micro-managed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You hire your people for a reason...they are seasoned sales reps. Treat them as such
